TEAM REGISTRATION FORMAT

The TEAM REGISTRATION style is structured for a Team Manager/Captain to register a team for a specific league and division.  After registering the team, the Manager/Captain will then register themselves or their child (depending on the league) for that team.  After completing the registration, the League Director will then approve the team's placement, which will generate a confirmation to the Manager/Captain.  Within that confirmation are simple instructions for the Manager/Captain to input their team player's (entire roster) information.  After submitting invites to your roster, this will send an automated email to all players with a dedicated link for them to register, auto-populating them on the team's roster.  Instructions for both Manager/Captain's and invited/rostered players are below, along with tutorial videos to assist with the registration process.​

TEAM MANAGER/CAPTAIN REGISTrATION

When registering as a Team Captain and subsequently registering the team for the desired Season/League Night/Division, follow these steps and watch the tutorial video below;
  • Log into your Sports Connect account.  If you have not registered through this system before, create a new account.
  • Select the League and Playing Division you wish to sign your team up for.
  • Follow all steps throughout the registration process, pay the league fee (for your child/yourself--depending on the league you're registering for).
  • After you've successfully checked out, you'll receive an automated email which will include a button to invite players to your roster.
  • Simply enter all of your player's email addresses within that team invite field, click 'invite' and each player will then receive an automated email (and link) that will allow them to register for your team.

PLAYER REGISTRATION

To register as a player (ie; sign up for your team captain/manager's roster), simply follow these steps, and watch the tutorial video below;
  1. Once your team captain/manager has invited you to register for your team, you will receive an automated email with a link to sign up for that team's roster.
  2. Click the link, and then log into your account (or create a new account if you've never registered for an Iceplex program/league).
  3. The invite your captain sent will automatically select the league and playing division that your team has been signed up for (so be sure not to select a different league night).
  4. Follow all steps throughout the registration process, pay the league fee and then checkout.
  5. You will then receive an automated email confirmation notifying you that you have successfully been added to your team roster.

FREE AGENT REGISTRATION

If you are registering as a Free Agent, follow the instructions (and video) for a Team Captain/Manager.  When you get to the step asking if you're registering a team, select 'no' and leave the team code and team name fields blank.  This step of the process does list instructions within the registration platform, but just be sure to follow those instructions to properly register as a Free Agent.
